This application will give users the ability to create records from their preferred videos from YouTube (including regular and short videos), Vimeo and Dailymotion, or even upload videos. The application automatically retrieves video thumbnails so all you need to do is enter the video title, paste the URL, and optionally add a description – that's it.

Key features of this application include:

  1. Integrated to YouTube Data API to grab data from videos via search to add them quickly.
  2. Two options to choose how the index will look like: Blocks or Tabs.
  3. Two options to choose how the videos will be displayed in the index: Grid or Carousel.
  4. Unlimited categories with support for unlimited parent-child relationships.
  5. Customizable category icons.
  6. Flexible options to enable comments and reviews system per category.
  7. Ability to add polls to videos.
  8. Extra Fields group that can be used per category.
  9. Additional Videos: videos added within a video.
  10. Profile tab to display the videos submitted by the profile owner.
  11. Thumbail management.
  12. Several places to display advertisements.

Other features:

  • Integrated with the framework, including features such as search, tags, follow functionality, reactions, and more.
  • Integration to RSS/Atom Feed Imports.
  • Support to Rest API
  • Support to Webhooks
  • Tool to import video records from the Videos application from Mike. J.

    • Index: Above the featured video
    • Index: Below the featured video
    • Index: At the bottom of the page
    • Category view: Above the video listing

  • Add a tool to import video records from the Videos app by Michael.J
    • Choose a source category from the other Videos app and a category from the Videos Directory app and it will import the videos.
    • This tool DOES NOT take into account the extra videos (videos added within a video); they WILL NOT be imported.

I have use Michael's Video app from early version of 3.xx days and I loved that one and always used . since he have left the scene am very happy to see @Adriano  listened to us video clients who wanted help to make video app alive again. So I am very glad he did,  and now released his own app Video Directory   , with the latest update released its get better then Michaels version . with my own YouTube API Key I can search videos directly inside video app . that's a super feature and together with RSS feed importer inbuilt in IPS my video app update itself from YouTube Channels and Playlists , My rating is way more an the 5 I can give here in review , but this is sure a * Must Have* app out here for us with Invision community .

Thanks for the hard work and all you doing for the IPS Community .

Another fantastic application by @Adriano which is exactly what my community needed. A vast improvement on similar applications I have used before but with the added bonus of brilliant support.

This is a very good app!

I like the current list of features; it makes it easy to set up, and I am delighted with the application. Adriano has done a great job bringing this to market, along with listening to feedback.

For those who have Michael John's video app, you can easily import all your existing data without fuss.

This transition means it's very easy to jump straight in.

Well @Adriano you have done it again with another outstanding app, I've used a few of the other video ones offered on IPS in the past however this app has a ton of options, want to give your users another reason to stay in your community? this app is worth the money, you won't be disappointed. 👍
