Clubs Categories

This application will allow you to add categories for clubs to be placed in.

Features:

  • Created unlimited categories and subcategories
  • Choose what members can view each category
  • Choose what members can add clubs to each category
  • Adds a sidebar to the club's directory page showing all categories
  • Easily edit the clubs category via the clubs setting page or via the ACP's club page
  • If a category has subcategories then the subcategories will show above the category tables

This will not change the default clubs page apart from showing a category sidebar, the default page will show all clubs still.

Note:

  • This application was initially developed by TheJackal84 and is currently supported by me, who purchased the right to support all of your files. The permission for this was given later and not at the time of purchase, which is why the name TheJackal84 still appears on IPS.

Hello, I hope everything is going well.

I have a small problem with this application, as I can't figure out how to display the entire menu. It only shows six categories and a link to the categories page, which forces the user to click several times in order to reach the destination:

screenshot-582.jpg

"Click on the main menu of the Site to go to the clubs page + Click on the categories menu to go to the categories page + Click on the category page to access the list of clubs + Click on the club to access the contents + Click on the contents to read them".

Too many clicks. I would like to be able to display all the menu content and thus avoid the need for some clicking, like in the Sidebar Forums menu, where you can configure the limits of items to display. Is this possible from the configuration or do you have to modify the application?

Hello! For some reason, the club categories are not displayed on the main page of the clubs on mobile devices.

Thanks Nice!

There are also two more issues:

  1. When clicking on the category container, the list of clubs within the entire container is not displayed.

  2. Clubs are not counted if they are inside a container (Container → Container → Category) or (Container → Category → Category).

Sorry, I will take a look again in a few days. You should have tested it all before so I would have tried to fix everything.

I have other apps to be supported and I stopped them to fix the block visibility because it was fast.

Still waiting for a decision

That's how it is. The CONTAINER is empty as it is a CONTAINER. Clubs are within the following categories:

That's how it is designed, and it complies with all official apps. One example is Downloads:

I can confirm this one. Will take a look.

What's New in Version 1.1.2.1:

  • Fix the number of clubs in containers/subcategories in the Categories widget

image.png

There is one club in Test, one club in Test 1, and one club in Test 2. Test2 is a subcategory of Test1, so it doesn't appear in the widget.
