Community Map is an application that allows users to put their exact or approximate location onto an interactive map.  Create unlimited markers and map out the world!

Highlights

• Create unlimited marker groups for member meet-ups, exhibits, landmarks, highlights, shops, or other geographic listings. Maps can overlap in a global map.   
• Administrators can control what member groups are allowed to post to map
• Import markers from Google Earth using a .kml or .kmz file
• Integrates with Clubs. It shows club members on a dedicated club map, and the club location is shown on the global map.
• Integrates with Member's Country where it'll update your member's flags when the map location is added or edited. (In 1.3)
• Show Gallery images (as of 1.3), Calendar events, Calendar venues, and Page record addresses on the map

I have a problem: when the application is enabled, new registrations are impossible.

There is a conflict with the application: Proxy, VPN & Disposable Email Blocker 1.2.4

I understand that. I turned off the second application because I can cope without it. It's a pity that this conflict exists

I would like to know if an update of the plugin is planned ?

When updating to Invision 4.7.15, this new version deactivated (and locked) "Community Map 1.6.0" plugin... because it contains PHP7 code that is no longer supported.

I'm having the same problem with the Links Directory 5.8.0 plugin.

Yes, it’s already done. I will start uploading new versions in a couple of hours. Away from my PC now. 👍

NOTE: it doesn’t contain PHP7 code. IPS added a new parameter on a method.

Does this app allow to create routes? I mean like for example cycling routes on the map having start and finish line?

Nope.

In theory can it be made to support that ?

PHP8 Compatibility Scanner says something not right ..

No panic at my end , I have it deactivated at the moment

Weird. This was fixed in 1.6.1:

 

Rebuild the cache and see if it fixes it. Otherwise, I'll send a file to upload via FTP.

Still same . I have PHP 8.1.27 if that helps to know ...

With latest IPS update the application has been locked, in admin it shows that an update is available and then I'm redirected here (yes I may have missed the latest evolutions and the migration to this new site). How can I update the application ? We had purchased it on IPS Marketplace about one year ago, renewal is maybe overdue but I don't see an option for it.

I see my subscription to this application has expired.  I didn't receive any notification so hadn't noticed.   How do I pay the annual fee ?   The webpage only gives me the option to repurchase the app.

OK, I have it.   But do I need to install it directly onto the server or can I do it remotely ?

Download the file and upload it in your ACP -> System -> Applications-> Community Map -> Upload new Version.
