  • Indeed it was a conflict with a plug in or app. I don't know which one exactly as there were a quite a few so I disabled them all. All seems good. Thanks again for apps that really help a lot.

Using v4 version on a v4 forum. I get the Change Author menu option just fine on replies but not the Topic creator's first post.

Anything special I need to do to enable changing Topic authors?

The first post is the topic itself, so you will find the option in the Moderation Actions menu, just like it shows in the screenshot of the app:

The option appears to admins only, as advertised.

Switch to an unmodified theme if you're using a custom theme. Disable all other resources to ensure that something else doesn't conflict with it.
