I didn’t add it because it’s already there. Like all core templates, it’s enough to hover the user link and then it will be there.

Could this be used to display custom profile fields (our case: telephone number, email address, postal address)?

Hello, Is it possible to have the option to remove the options tab completely if we wanted too, I tried disabling everything and it still shows with view info when I have the view info tab turned off.

Also is it possible to have us add a custom limit on someones username so everything can still look even, either we can set the max char. for the username to be displayed and the rest could be ... when it gets passed it and or have it done another way. Thanks

I can truncate the name like this (Lucio):

But the username won't have the hover card anymore, only the photo:

Is it worth losing this functionality just to maintain alignment? You may agree, but I'm not sure others will.

Well I wasn't asking to change it all together, was seeing if there was away you could have a toggle to turn off the options as you have the toggle to turn off the things within the options menu, so when someone clicks it, it will just say info and then once again clicked nothing will be shown.

When it comes to the name, however you wish to do it even if its a setting I have to toggle for the name limit.

No, I won't add a setting to every single thing.

What's the max-width you're using in your theme editor? The option you're using shows 6 members with 1500. You can certainly increase it a bit.

I tried increasing to max which I believe was 2500 and it still cut off, so when you said theme I went to post on the dev that made the theme to see if its a possible css fix he might be able to do.

Thanks for posting that suggestion

What's New in Version 2.0.1:

New Feature:

  • Added a new setting: Display button to link to the member's information. When it is disabled and used in conjunction with the disabled Display button to link to the member's content setting, will hide the OPTIONS button in both small and large boxes.

Enhancements:

  • Long usernames will be truncated to display only the first 20 characters.

Would it be possible to add a button under the member name to open the Compose Message them directly without having to go into their profile? Maybe next to Follow? This is a great tool we'll be adding!

Can you enhance the Sort option to allow Sort by First Name and Last Name?

In addition could the Filter By list Online Members? Also not sure why there is a All Members filter and just a Members filter. Seems redundant.

Oh, and possibly a Search box to look for a specific member?

Sort options are in the SORT BY menu. Inside of it, will find custom and then you can search by name. Last name isn’t a column in core_members so no. Online too.

I have no idea about the FILTER BY, as I don’t use this app and you didn’t post the whole menu. I believe it’s filtering by groups?

Sure I understand. I've specified additional groups for the Filter menu option however they do not show up. For example there are 3 Business Vendors (secondary group) who don't display and the Captains have 5 who do not show either.

You probably disabled the Allow filtering by this group? option in the groups for these ones:

Anyway, that filter probably filters the primary group only. You may find secondary groups option in the Custom sorting menu.

Yes, the Filter does not show Secondary Groups which is too bad since they show up as filterable. The Custom Sort has no facility to show groups sort options so the app only shows Members group.
