Visually based on the Providers Directory from IPS, this app will allow members to offer their services in your community. You can verify the record and allow members to bump their records, which will bring them to the top of the listing.

Small bug (Description for the service badges) in the block 'Service Area' is missing

What's New in Version 2.0.1:

• Fix: The area description is missing in the Services Areas widget.

The app displays in my community menu as "Services". Is there a way I can change it to "Service Marketplace"? I konow I could add an external link in menu with the "Service Marketplace" name and link it to the services page, but it opens in a new browser.

In the create new record button, is it possible to change to Create New Service?

Added extra fields, but are not showing in create new record form... maybe I am not doing something right?

Is there a way to add a description of the services section in the area i highlighted in red ?

You can change the language bit in your ACP to whatever you want.

You need to edit the category and choose the fields that will be used on it.

No.

I have a weird problem, or have I miss a settings somewhere?

In pages I have one category automatic make a post in forum as well
When I open the forum post for that article services is shown in my post?

I found this directory very helpful and like the format a lot. Is there a way to use it twice on the same community? Either paying again or included in current fee? I am using it for a service market place now but can use it for other directories.

Unfortunately, you can’t use more than one instance of each app in the same board installation: you can’t have two Forums app or two Gallery apps, etc.

In order to make it work, I would have to change the folder of the app (services) and all calls to its name in all files and templates. l’d also need to change all tables names.

Yeah, it can be—it’s a place where people show off their skills in areas set up by the admin.

More specific and will allow to hire people would be Jobs.

The first thing is to allow ads to be published for free,

The second is to purchase services directly from the site,

Instead of placing a link to the service provider's website, we place a button to hire the service provider at the price at which he specifies his services, and payment is made directly on the website with a profit percentage specified for the website that is deducted from the service provider's profits,

There will be a button for the buyer to confirm receipt of his service, then the number of buyers will appear in the advertisement,

If it is possible to add that please let me know.

If you don’t integrate it with Commerce, people can post without pay. The paying part is to monetize your site.

No. By doing this, you are responsible by any issues and will have to handle refunds, disputes, etc. People will go after the one who they paid for. You don’t want that kind of problem. Believe.

There are two indeed.

@Adriano Can we add icons to the badges? What does the process of designing the appearance of a badge look like? It's not visible in the preview images
