Club Special Features

This application will empower club owners by introducing new features and enabling functions that were previously only available in the Admin Control Panel. Club owners will be able to:

  • Change a club's ownership

  • Change the club's privacy

  • Manually add members to the club

  • Mass revoke invitations

  • Message members from the club

Admins will be able to convert forums and categories (currently from Downloads) into club features in the Admin CP.

This application will also allow members to automatically create club features upon club creation.

The “app” tabs title is given by the app itself. Like Forums, the content item is topic, then it uses Topics. It will use a language bit from Forums. If you change it there, will change in Clubs.

What's New in Version 1.0.1:

  • Add the ability to auto-create club features upon club creation.

  • Add the ability to convert forums and categories (currently from Downloads) into club features.

I interest in this app, but exactly the feature I was searching is restric group member of a club to create topics in Topic forum, is possible add this feature into the app?

Currently when I create a Topic forum, there contains options of Who can create content, All club members, or Club Moderators only. I think I need an option to select members who can create topic, and set a number of topic available to be created. Example, Members Adriano (1 topic), David (2 topics), Andy (4 topics).

Or create a rule to restric how many topic can be created, then add members into that rule. Example, a rule of 2 topcis, add Adriano, David and Andy into that rule, then the Create topic button will available for them limited with 2 topics creation.

What's New in Version 1.0.2:

New Features:

  • Add a new option to mass revoke invitations.

    • Currently, you can revoke one invitation at a time in the Club.

  • The post author's clubs will be shown alongside their posts in topics.

    • A new setting will allow the admin to choose which groups can view the clubs.

  • A new setting will allow the admin to select which groups can create features when creating a club.

Enhancement:

  • It will show the current status of the member you're trying to add if the user is already part of the group (INVITED, BANNED, PENDING PAYMENT, etc).

  • 7 months later...

I know there is an option to reorder the menu but would it be possible to change the name of any of these menu options? Some were given wrong names to start but now there are entries there and we don't want to start over. Possible in a future release?

Hi, Not sure what is generating this error. Had a member that was added to a club, then removed by mistake. Then requested to be added back to the proper one and admin gets this error about being banned but never was and can't be re-added. 🤔

All banned members are still in the club, but with BANNED status. Go to the members list of the club and manually remove the member, then add the member again via my app.

That's the thing. She was previously removed and now she doesn't show in the club member listing. I tried adding her back in and got that message. I've sent her an Invitation and it shows Pending. I'll watch to see how it turns out and let you know.

Yes, that's what you can do:

Is there some way to prevent users assigned as Leaders of a Club to not have access to the Manage Club options (we call them Meetups)? We've got club leaders using these options and creating multiple events, images options, Files, etc. We don't want them having access to anything unless we specify it.

Do you mean this button?

Not that I'm aware. You can hide it via CSS, probably... but not for a specific role in the club.

OK, Can you give me a general area where I can look to hide this if I want to?

Some custom CSS, which I don’t know . Sorry. You better try a topic on IPS.
