AI: Auto Reply to New Topics

This application utilizes Perplexity AI or Google Gemini AI to generate replies to new topics automatically. Replies are processed via a background task (running every 5 minutes) to prevent delays during topic creation. All automated replies are usually written in the same language as the original post, helping to increase engagement and responsiveness across the community.

• Perplexity AI is a paid artificial intelligence platform focused on delivering fast, accurate, and well-sourced answers. It combines large language models with real-time web search to produce clear and concise responses grounded in up-to-date information. Initially, only English is supported, with additional languages planned for future releases.

• Google Gemini AI is Google’s generative AI platform, designed to provide high-quality, natural, and context-aware responses. It excels at understanding forum discussions and producing helpful replies efficiently, making it well-suited for automated background processing in community environments.

• Select which forums the AI will generate automatic replies for

• Select which member groups are allowed to receive automated replies on newly created topics

• Topic first post minimum length

• Reply Author

• AI provider selection (Perplexity AI or Gemini AI)

Requirements

• API key from Perplexity AI (for Perplexity AI)

• API key from Google AI Studio (for Gemini AI)

• Forums application

Uploaded a fix but kept the version.

I can't actually get min to post?

I saw a request in Gemini but it never posted.

Also we use ChatGPT usually - is this possible to get?

Min to post? What do you mean?

This app, as stated, uses a task. The reply isn’t instantaneous. Otherwise, it will slow down the topic creation.

Tasks are based on the traffic in your site and it respects a task queue so it may run only after others run first. If you want to make sure it runs, add it to a Cron job.

I have it as a CRON job now

I made a post

Then i checked Gemini

Nothing since one time it worked about 45 mins ago

*that post is longer than 2 mins old. and the CRON job is set to 1 min to test it.

Forced it to run too. Did not post any query to Gemini strange

Post? It runs in new topics only, as stated in the file description.

I have changed the application name to make it clearer.

Olá Adriano,

O meu BOT só rodou após eu apertar o PLAY nas CRON. Preciso fazer algo a mais na hospedagem para rodar a cada 5 minutos?

Também gostaria de sugerir uma mudança, permitir que possamos colocar um prompt para instruir a IA em como responder, isso ajudaria a manter a linguagem amigável do fórum etc ou criar um vinculo com o usuário.

Em tempo, também seria interessante no próprio prompt definir uma formatação, para ficar adequado ao SEO! Fiz um texto e ficou SUPIMPA.

Ah sim, outra sugestão seria nós da moderação, poder rodar o SCRIPT em tópicos sem resposta. Como se colocassemos ele na FILA. Isso ajudaria a trazer tráfego para os sites.

There was an error in the task's runtime. It was set to 24 hours. The new version fixes it.

New features will likely be released over the next week.

@Adriano E sobre as minhas sugestões? Só criar pequenos prompts ou regras em cada área, já seria incrível.

Algo que seria interessante é marcar o BOT e ele responder a nova pergunta... não só apenas interagindo na abertura de tópicos.

Tem sugestões suas e do @FPZone acima (feitas via mensagem). Vou dar uma analisada na próxima semana.

Excelente! Fico feliz que outra pessoa teve a mesma visão.

Outro ponto, pedi para o meu DEV analisar o código do seu plugin, ele me disse que você está enviando apenas o conteúdo do tópico, o ideal é somar o título + o post, muitas vezes a pergunta está diretamente no título, usuário é sem noção e preguiçoso... então se puder enviar ambos já ajuda.

Sobre o prompt, notamos que existe o comando em Reply.php, dá para editar a regra manualmente... mas o ideial é deixar no admincp.

Se você refinar bem esse plugin, vai vender muito, é a única saida para bater de frente com IA.
